To check your document and ensure that all source files are valid DocBook XML, type the following at a shell prompt:

publican build --langs languages --formats test

Replace languages with a comma-separated list of language codes (such as en-US or cs-CZ). Note that when you build a document as described in Section 6.4, “Building a Document”, Publican automatically validates it for you.
